Smoke Free Restaurants
This section of our site will help you find
smoke free restaurants in the Pittsburgh area. To be listed,
restaurants must allow no smoking indoors.
Whenever you eat out, we urge you to use our table
cards. They offer and easy way to let smoke free restaurants
know their concern for your health and comfort is paying off, and to let
other restaurants know that going smoke free will help them earn
customers.
Special Categories
Restaurants falling into the following categories will be
flagged so they can be more easily identified. There
are probably more restaurants that qualify, but we don't
have enough information to include them. If you think a restaurant
falls into one of these categories but isn't flagged, please let us
know. If you think the restaurant qualifies as vegetarian, please email us a link if the
menu is online, or fax a copy of the menu with the vegetarian items marked
to 303-379-3654. Thanks for helping us make the site useful!
Vegetarian Restaurants

Restaurants that are vegetarian or have a large
number of vegetarian options, based in part on a list
maintained by the Pittsburgh Vegetarian Society. |
Outdoor Seating

Restaurants that have outdoor seating and are
completely smoke free outdoors as well as indoors. |
Smoke Free Bars
|
|
Restaurants with bars. This does not include all restaurants that
serve alcohol. These would be places you
would go to socialize without necessarily having a meal, even if they also
serve full meals. |
Performance Venues
|
|
Restaurants, cafes, bars, or clubs that sponsor
performances. These are places where you might go to see a performance even if you're not eating a full meal. |
Wireless Internet Access
|
|
Restaurants providing 80211.x wireless
Internet access, free or with a purchase of $5 or less. |
Smoke
Free PA Restaurant List
For many years, SmokeFree Pennsylvania has maintained an
excellent list
of smoke free restaurants.
The list now includes almost 140 restaurants, up from about 30 several years
ago. That list formed the basis for this site, with the addition of
maps. Both sites have most or all of the same listings, but if you
prefer a list all on one page, check out the Smoke Free PA list.
WISH Restaurant Database
Wisconsin Initiative on Smoking and Health has a database
that will allow you to search for smoke free restaurants by proximity to
your zip code. Our list has been imported into their database.
